Top 5 uses for Rolling Spritzers

When I had the opportunity to stock these bottles, I was ecstatic. Why I love these bottles , let me explain.

Picture this, I had just got home from a few nights away and hadn’t had time to do the groceries …… and great no toothpaste! I grab my spritzer of peppermint EO and quickly squirt a couple of sprays into my mouth and hope that my breathe remains fresh until the groceries are delivered.

I had both kids at home, a seven-month-old that thinks that 3 hours sleep a night is sufficient and a 3 year old who has more energy than I am capable of dealing with. Outside play wasn’t an option as it was 30+ degrees. I had a headache from lack of sleep, so I applied a blend of peppermint EO and FCO to my temples and pushed through.

After lunch that same day i took the girls to the park, whilst trying to navigate the children and other obstacles Miss Q comes off her bike bruising her knee. No real damage just a small bruise where she had landed, I had my peppermint roller bottle blend that I had been using for my headache handy, so I applied it to her knee to reduce the small amount of swelling.

We get home all hot and bothered and immediately I thought AC on and headed to the fridge to get the cooling mist (blend of peppermint EO & distilled water). I spray it into the air and encourage Miss Q to join me twirling around the kitchen in a breeze of peppermint.

Dad finally gets home; I had survived another Monday!

That evening after the kids were asleep as I was tidying up i realised that I had 3 blends all the same if different bottles. I joked to Mr AEO that I should invent a double ended bottle. He laughed and thought that would be terrific to simply reduce the ridiculous number of bottles we have in every room of the house.

The very next day my supplier called and told me about this versatile new bottle they were manufacturing – 6 weeks later they were in my hot little hands.

So, if you can’t decide between a spritzer or a roller bottle? Our innovative 2 in 1 rolling spritzers are the solution. Below are my most frequently used recipes, let me know what you think.

Immune Support

It is especially important to be mindful of our immune system during transitional times of the year, for instance, the beginning of a new school year when exposure to environmental threats increases. Many lifestyle factors can also weaken our immune system, including stress, lack of sleep, exposure to toxicity, and poor nutrition. An easy way to boost your immunity is to introduce a daily immunity blend.

7 drops lemon EO
7 drops oregano EO
7 drops frankincense
7 drops tea tree
7 drops on guard/thieves or clove

Fill the rest of the bottle with fractionated coconut oil.
To use: Apply every 2-3 hours on bottoms of feet and spine when you first start to become unwell, continue using until symptoms disappear. For daily support apply to soles of feet each night before bed.

Pure-fume

Create your signature scent using any combination of essential oils. Here are two that I am loving during the summer months. The beauty of creating a custom scent is that you can frequently change your blend to suit any season or mood. Be as creative as you like or stick to something basic.
Simply add any combination of essential oils and fill the rest of the bottle with your choice of carrier oil. I like to use fractionated coconut oil as it has no scent and absorbs into the skin quickly. If you prefer not to use a carrier oil as a base replace with distilled water.
To use shake bottle to disperse oils and roll or spritz onto skin.

Sweet Energy
20 drops grapefruit EO
10 drops ylang ylang EO

Forest Fairy
10 drops wild orange EO
7 drops peppermint EO
5 drops rosemary EO
8 drops cedarwood EO

Skin Saver

Must have blend! Apply to scrapes, bruises, sun exposed skin or even use as facial moisturiser. Add essential oils and fill the rest of the bottle with fractionated coconut oil.
To use shake bottle to disperse oils and roll or spritz onto skin.
5 drops lavender EO
5 drops frankincense EO

Simply Peppermint

Head tension, bad breathe, temperature, swelling.
This blend of simply peppermint is going to become your handbag staple, so many uses and just two ingredients.
10 drops peppermint EO and fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water
To use shake bottle to disperse oils and roll or spritz

Sanitiser

Spray or roll onto your hands or over your glands/spine for immune support
10 drops of protective blend EO (On Guard, Thieves or equivalent)

Tip: Fill your bottle from the spritzer end or use an oil key to remove and insert the roller ball if you prefer to fill them that way.
