Beexwax Gift Ideas

Beeswax is a beautiful ingredient which can be used to create a variety of products. Aside from being an effective choice for beauty products such as lip balms, body lotions and salves it can also be used to create handy home care products like reusable beeswax covers to replace store bought cling film. Some of the many benefits of using Beeswax include its non-allergenic properties which provides wonderful skin protection from various airborne allergies. Here are some of my favourite DIY products that I love to gift.

Lotion Bars

Lotion Bars are a great simple gift which can easily be customised to a Christmas theme by using Christmas shaped moulds. Tailor the bars to your personal needs using the perfect combination of essential oils, shea butter and beeswax. Lotion bars help to soothe skin, lock in moisture, and even have natural anti-wrinkle properties. 

Maybe some Bath Melts made with Shea Butter, the ultimate skin hydrator!

With powerful antioxidants able to prevent ageing, treat stretch marks and blemishes, Raw Shea Butter smooths wrinkles and scars, softens the skin, fortifies nails and provides relief from dry, cracked skin!

Lip Balms

Beeswax lip balms are soothing, nourishing and can also provide a little shine. Create unique Christmas gifts by adding essential oils or natural colourant such as beetroot powder or cocoa powder. There are so many great lip balm recipes available but here you can find my personal favourite. This balm is not too firm but not too soft perfect for storing in jars.
